It should be noted that while undertaking booking bands for your party, make sure your venue has a music license. Moreover, check for sound limits if any at the venue or the locality before starting off. If all is fine and after the cover band is selected, sit with them to jointly decide on the final play list and be sure to make arrangements for all their logistical requirements such as adequate power supply, parking space and stage space at the venue, etc so as to make you party a highly successful one and the talk of the tinsel town in the days to come.
